The Mayflower is a delightful, four storey building built around the 1890's with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Commended by the English Tourist Board and joint winner of the 2004 Plymouth Guest Houses in Bloom and highly commended in 2006 and 2007.
We are located close to the historic Plymouth Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake famously played bowls, and the bustling Barbican area, taking in the Mayflower Steps from where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail in 1620. An easy five minute stroll will lead you to the City where you will find a traffic-free shopping centre.
Plymouth is on the doorstep of the great Dartmoor National Park with its rustic appeal, the beautiful South Hams, boasting a wide range of beaches, and is just across the river from the charming County of Cornwall.
